Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • Is this rose fragrant?

Coral Drift Roses are not known for their fragrance. While they offer stunning coral-colored blooms, they are primarily valued for their color and continuous blooming rather than scent.

  • How tall can this drift rose grow?

Coral Drift Roses typically reach a height of 1 to 1.5 feet. They grow in a low, spreading habit, making them ideal as ground covers, border plants, or in small garden spaces.

  • Do you do discounts on multiple orders and do you have different colors of drifts

We have an array of roses with different colors. However, we do not do discounts on multiple orders. We do provide free shipping on orders over a certain amount.

  • Do I need to deadhead the flowers as they fade away.

Yes, deadheading the flowers of your Coral Drift Rose as they fade away is recommended. Removing spent blooms encourages continuous flowering and helps the plant conserve energy for new growth. Deadheading also keeps your Drift Rose looking tidy and vibrant throughout the blooming season. Simply snip off the faded flowers just above a leaf node to promote more blooms and maintain a healthy, attractive plant.

  • Will these do well in the Florida heat if in part shade. Fort Myers?

Yes, a Coral Drift Rose (Rosa 'Meidrifora') can do well in the Florida heat, including in areas like Fort Myers, but it will thrive best in part shade. While Drift Roses prefer full sun for optimal blooming, in the intense Florida heat, providing part shade—especially during the hottest part of the day—can help prevent stress and sunscald. Ensure the plant is in well-draining soil and receives consistent watering to keep it healthy and blooming throughout the season.
