If I purchase today, can the plants be shipped in mid-February or can they survive some cold weather in the Dallas, Texas area now? Thanks.
GG Gerbing Azaleas can last through the winter in most parts of Texas, as they are hardy in USDA Zones 7-9 (Dallas, Texas being zone 8). They can tolerate mild Texas winters, but in areas with freezing temperatures, protect them with mulch and occasional coverings during hard freezes. Keep them in a sheltered location for better survival.
However, if you decide you don't want the GG Gerbing during the winter months; we do not hold plants to be shipped at a later date. The best option would be to order the plants whenever you would like to receive them.
