Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
Is there a dwarf one as I donât want it to get 6 feet tall- just a border.
This plant is very slow growing. Keeping it trimmed once a year would keep it the size you'd like.

Is it save for dogs
Sunshine Ligustrums (Ligustrum sinense 'Sunshine') are generally considered non-toxic to dogs. However, some types of Ligustrum plants can cause mild digestive upset if ingested in large amounts. To ensure your pet's safety, it's always a good idea to supervise your dog around plants and consult with a veterinarian if you're concerned about specific plant ingestion. Sunshine Ligustrums are a popular choice for landscaping due to their vibrant yellow foliage and ease of maintenance.

Is this a hardy shrub I live in West Virginia?
Yes, Sunshine Ligustrums (Ligustrum sinense 'Sunshine') are considered hardy and can thrive in USDA Zones 6 to 10, which means they should survive in most areas of West Virginia. These shrubs are known for their bright yellow foliage and can tolerate a range of conditions, including heat, humidity, and mild cold. However, in areas with extremely harsh winters, providing some protection, such as mulching, can help them withstand colder temperatures. Sunshine Ligustrum performs best in full sun and is a great low-maintenance choice for adding color to landscapes.

I would like this kind of bush in front of my front porch & all the way across the front of my house but I would want the dwarf kind for that. is it ok where I want to plant them & does it come in a dwarf bush? Thanks
The sunshine ligustrum is not labeled a dwarf but it does not grow as tall as any other ligustrum. It’s perfect for a front yard and to be used as a small to medium hedge.
Always a Healthy and Beautiful Purchase
Very nice plants
I like it
The photo of the plant is nowhere near to the actually product. Ordered two plants . They were about ready to die. Leaves were falling off dead stems. Actually plants were about a foot tall. I now have them for two weeks and they still look terrible. Waste of money.. I will keep them for another two weeks if no improvement they will thrown in the garbage.
USP did not handle the package according to the instructions. Plant was extremely dry with exposed roots.
